With a bold leap of faith, Lori Smith started her quilting business in 2004 to share her passion for the art of quilt making with others. A native of Minnesota, she is a self- taught quilter of thirty-plus years, artist, designer and author who earned degrees in the Fine Arts and Education. Her design philosophy explores and builds upon the quilt legacy of our ancestors. The artist enjoys combining hand applique with machine piecing for a stunning combination when creating her traditionally inspired quilt designs.
